Where's the Ceremony? | |
| Tommy and I have chosen to follow in the traditions of our Chinese heritage by holding a private, family-only, ceremony followed by a large banquet for our friends and dear ones--in lieu of a Western-style ceremony. The family-only portion is extremely intimate, involving the honoring of ancestors and roasted meat. I know some of you are disappointed that we won't have a "walking down the aisle" type of wedding for you to attend, but if you know me or Tommy, then you know we're extremely low-maintenance people who like to keep things as simple as possible. We are working towards making the banquet experience a fun and enjoyable one for you all, so don't feel like you've missed out on anything! | |
