Yesterday we had a meeting with the Happy Gnome, the location of our reception.  I had a number of questions for them such as -may I do drink 'tickets' to make sure everyone has an opportunity to have a drink on us rather than just the first $x, -what is acceptable by way of centerpieces etc.  One thing we did find out is that, due to cost, space, and, well, the venue in general, kids won't really be able to join us.  All of my questions were answered to my complete satisfaction, so we had lunch there to celebrate.

After our stop at the Gnome, we headed to the Mall of America where we found the shirts for the men, then got the first bit for our centerpieces.  From there, we went to a ceramics studio where we picked up some test pieces we'd done in preparation for our wedding platters.  Once we got home, I worked on some wedding jewelry creating a few unique handmade pieces, and Matt worked on stuffing envelopes with invitations.  As I type, he's heading downstairs to grab the stamps from the car so we can mail them out today. 

Things are coming together beautifully!  As more happens, more will be posted, but progress is most definitely being made.
