Directions
We are getting married in Brooklodge church and the reception is in the Lady Gregory in Gort. Think kick-off is 1.00 PM. Stella insists that she is going to be on time - i believe her.
Please note that the Church is about an hour from the hotel for the reception. As such if you are coming to Galway the night before it might be an idea to stay around Claregalway which is only ten minutes from the church.
After the ceremony, we will have a big entourage for the journey to the hotel. We will be travelling past Stella's home house to Gort. We will be taking pictures in the church grounds and then on to Coole Park in Gort for more photos.
Wedding Reception
The Lady Gregory is a fantastic hotel located in Gort. We choose the hotel as the food has been superb at any wedding we attended. They built a big extension recently so there is loads of rooms for the crowd from Tipperary and beyond.
To the Hotel
GORT is located on the N18 Limerick- Galway Road. The Lady Gregory is located on the approach from Limerick.
Ater Wedding Get Together
Claregalway is located on the edge of Galway City, on the junction of N17 (Galway/Sligo) and N18 (Dublin/Limerick) routes. Their webste says that the Arches Hotel is ideally located for anyone visiting the West of Ireland for business or pleasure.
Night before
My wonderful fiancee has organised a Wedding Rehearsal for the evening before the wedding so that everything goes to plan on the day.
Wedding Ceremony
Brooklodge Church is 3 miles beyond Turloughmore heading for Roscommon. We'll have big Tipperary and Galway flags at enterance to the Church on the day.

Coming in the N4 (Dublin galway)
Come to roundabout after the dual carriage way & go straight through. (Summerhill college boys secondary school on the right hand side)

(you will see coach lane on right)

3rd set traffic lights - after Warehouse shop and just before Simones Shop - take a left (look like pedestrian lights) turn down to glass house car park
If you miss it, just keep going on the one way system and come back around again. Its a small town, you won't get lost!!!!!!
