Our Story
How We Met
Kate and Daniel met when Daniel was living in Dublin during a university exchange program. Daniel was out at McDowells, a restaurant/bar in Dublin. Kate was out with her friends, Candace and Rose, celebrating her birthday. Daniel and a friend struck up conversation with Kate and her friends. They started going out but eventually Daniel had to go back to the US. After Daniel graduated, he returned to Dublin and the rest is history.
The Proposal
Daniel and Kate were on holidays in the Bahamas in March 2007. They were having dinner at a nice little beachside restaurant when much to Kate's surprise Daniel got down on one knee and proposed! Kate was over the moon with happiness and said yes straight away. The rest of the holiday was fantastic. Kate and Daniel held a huge engagement party when they returned from the holiday.
