Brian & Morgan

Our Story

Chapter 1: Brian builds some shelter

I awoke on October 20th, 2007 (my birthday) and put on some ragged clothes and boots. I ate a stale bagel for breakfast and walked out the door to my car. "So this is what it feels like to be 25," I said to myself. My first 4 hours of being 25 proceeded in much the same fashion. I joined some friends to roof a house. I ate some stale donuts on the roof, and listened to some stale jokes. Then around noon, the stale vacuousness of life was interrupted by a spark of beauty. Morgan Wintz, the girl from next door, wandered into the backyard of my soul and ascended the ladder of my heart. Morgan and her friend were bringing some lunch and much needed cheer to the guys. Our eyes met like a hammer mets the head of roofing nail. "Hi," she said. "Hello," I said. Within a few weeks we went on our first date, and several months later I proposed atop a water tower on the east side of town. The story doesn't stop here, but the remainder lays before us and not behind.

Well for me it was all a little different. I was set on finishing school and not letting anything get in the way of those plans. I am not a feminist but let's just say the idea of barefoot in the kitchen wasn't always on the top of my "What I Want to Be When I Grow Up" list...But happy day, all those empty plans were interupted when I met Brian. I had always had this strange feeling like I should meet this elusive Brian Points but our paths never crossed. Finally we did meet and it all took off from there. I had always thought that it was romantic, lovesick jargon which people in emotional frenzies whipped up when they'd declare, "Its The One!" But I proved myself wrong because soon after we started "getting to know each other", I knew. Brian made me think about everything and his wisdom and wit took me off guard. He was smart. "Not the typical guy," I thought to myself. And so we are getting married and yes, I will probably be barefoot in the kitchen someday and I'm very happy...

Chapter 2- Sushi

We made some sushi together, and it was amazing. Brian was impressed with Morgan's cooking abilities right off the bat. Morgan was impressed with Brian's sweet temperament and his green vest.

Morgan spilled a pot of tea on the table and was horribly embarrassed, but Brian was kind enough to laugh at her.
