unknown![]() | Posted on Wed Apr 16 2008 5:08am Im Rach, im getting married in two weeks down on the south coast, im in the process of finalising everything and have come to the ceremony part of it all, i have my finacee and my stuff organised but I have two daughters aged 4 & 7 from a previous marriage that we would like to some how include in the ceremony,to make it a special day for them also entering a new family. Does anyone have any ideas on how we could include them. |

| cortnick Posts: 2 Wedding countdown: 134 days | Posted on Sun Sep 7 2008 11:22pm My cousin got married a couple of years ago and included her two boys in the ceremony just after she and her husband said their vows. The minister actually called the boys up and explained that on this day her husband wasn't only marrying her, but her boys as well. Her husband then said a few vows to the boys promising to love them and honor them and be the best step father he could be. There wasn't a dry eye in the house, but it let the boys know he was committed to the entire family - not just their mom. I've also seen with girls an exchange of rings or necklaces with the bride & groom. |
