We're October 26th 2008. I already found my dress. But we don't have much planned other than the bridal party and the colors. I'm 20 years old and my fiance' is 21. I'm finding planning for a wedding is extremely stressful. I don't have the privilege of having my dad walk me down the aisle because he passed away 3 years ago. But my question is my uncle is walking me down the aisle and doing the father daughter dance with me? What can I give him to say thank you and what song would be appropriate? Is it weird that my uncle is doing the father daughter dance with me? Please help me. |

I know everything starts to feel overwhelming, but try to just focus on what this is all about and then you'll see the stress just melt away knowing that things are in perspective. Really, the whole thing could self-destruct and it wouldn't matter so long as you were with the one you love. As per your question about your uncle: I think it's wonderful that you ask him, especially if he's been an important part of your life. My Aunt had her mom walk her down the aisle because her father wasn't there, and I'm not going to have anyone walk me down the aisle 9complicated story). Your wedding day is supposed to be for you and your partner, and the people you love and honour. Go ahead and make it meaningful to you. |

So far we have organized Venue Photographer Video Dress!!! Band Going to book a florist this weekend. Anything else anyone can think of that I need to get moving on then please let me know. I'm a 2008 bride as well!! More of a recent thing, as we got engaged in December but are tying the knot this September! I'm in crazy-planning mode and have quite a bit organized so far. Although I have quite a few things booked, Flowers are my main issue..I can't figure out what I want! Any suggestions? I'm always open to any help I can get!! Thanks! |

We're August '08 and I'm getting more anxious as each day passes. Venues, invitations, honeymoon, bridal party, and DJ are ready. I'm 50% at dresses, flowers, photography, and cake. Clueless on make-up and hair because I don't wear make-up and have never been to a proper salon in my life. So much to think about, so little time! |
